This blog has to be anonymous. I couldn't post anything on my eponymous website. At first it was because my employees were reading it. That was a threat to the respect I get at work. Now it's because I want to write about what I am up to, but I don't want anyone in town to read it. So here goes.
At the beginning of '08, I left my job in Las Vegas and moved to San Luis Obispo. Fot the last 6 months I have been travelling (St. Maarten, St. Barth, Central America, Portland, Richmond, LA, DC, etc.). Now I am settling in here in SLO. I am ostensibly a consultant, but primarily I work on projects for my independently wealthy friend. Right now I am designing some mechanical systems for his custom home.
Over the last 18 months, I have successfully alienated almost every woman in my life (Mom still loves me). I blew off a girl named Snow White one too many times. I found one in bed next to an empty bottle of sleeping pills. She made it, but she's not talking to me now. I ditched my Costa Rican actress because she came to Vegas the same weekend as my Half-Asian girlfrined. I broke up with my Half-Asian girlfriend because I was seeing a very hot 8th grade teacher. And today, my hot 8th grade teacher dumped because she started dating some guy from Orange County while I was in Nicaragua.
All of this has left me feeling a little empty.
And so that is where we begin this blog...
